If your saves still don’t load, continue to increase the number in this file until they do.īTW not all mods cause the black emporium not to load, it’s mainly just retextures and image edits, but I presumed if you forgot you had mods that you don’t mind just getting rid of them all.
Open it with notepad and change the number in it to 13, then you should be able to load your saves and into the black emporium. This will cause a new issue where the saves you made whilst you had mods on won’t load anymore due to the mod manager tricking the game into thinking it had an update, but, you can fix this by going to where your Dragon Age Inquisition exe is installed, Update > Patch folder and locate a folder called package.mft. What you can do if you don’t want mods anymore is to delete the Patch_ModManagerMerge folder. Okay then you have used dai mod manager in past. LMK if you see any folders like i described, i can tell you what to do if so. but just in case, the folder for that mod manager is called ModData and would be located directly in your DAI installation folder. There is another mod manager DA:I has but the other mod manager only applies mods if you launch the game via the mod manager which it requires you to do every time, so the frosty mod manager shouldn't be interfering. dunno where it is on steam, but, you can find your DAI installation folder on steam i think by going to your library in steam, right click on DA:I, click properties, local files, browse local files, find the update > patchmodmanagermerge folder. If your game is from origin, the folders commonly located in C: > Program Files > Origin Games > Dragon Age Inquisition > Update > Patch_ModManagerMerge. If you need to, you can check for sure if you have any mods installed by heading to the folder where your game.exe is located and looking for a folder called "Patch_ModManagerMerge." this is the folder dai mod manager/dai tools suite makes when merging mods.
